In accordance with our mission to serve the children in our community, one of the goals of the Northern Columbus Kiwanis Club is to encourage and support higher education. In 2020 we awarded college scholarships to three outstanding students: Thomas Worthington High School students Eleanor Weiker and Leah Lindemeyer; and Whetstone HS student Louis Schirmer. Once again Northern Columbus Kiwanis will offer college scholarships worth $1000.00 to graduating high school seniors. Students attending Whetstone, Thomas Worthington, Worthington Christian, Bishop Watterson and Linworth Alternative. are eligible to apply. Also, if you are a student at another high school you may also be eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Terrific 10-E meeting this past week hosted by Kiwanis Club of Newark, Ohio. We collected items for Camp O'Bannon, elected Will O'Malley to be our 2024-25 Lt. Gov., heard from leaders of several SLPs in our division and played a little trivia organized by Kiwanis Club of New Albany! Kudos to current Lt. Gov.
