Each year Northern Columbus Kiwanis recognizes community volunteers. Our club is pleased to announce that this service award is sponsored by The Spotlight. Northern Columbus Kiwanis honored three outstanding individuals, Cheri Alexander, Martha Ratliff and Erin Bauer, with the 2020 Community Support Award. Cheri, Martha and Erin each volunteered with multiple organizations, including those which support schools, veterans, homeless persons, animals, and other causes. Along with this honor Northern Columbus Kiwanis will make donations to organizations designated by the CSA winners.
We enjoyed our annual family picnic in the Highbanks Metro Park Northern Shelterhouse that was built with the help of our club some 40 years ago. The meeting doubled as our quarterly 10E division meeting, when current Lt. Gov. Cliff Wiltshire (Northern) introduced Lt. Gov. Elect Sally Schaadt (Granville).
