Buddy Box Connection

Northern Columbus Kiwanis supports children’s health and well-being by volunteering at the Buddy Box Connection, formerly known as Family Mentor Foundation. With help from community volunteers we are able to pack over nearly 1000 Buddy Boxes of non-perishable food in one hour which are then distributed to 30 schools in the Worthington, Columbus, and South-Western City School District which partner with BBC. The boxes of food are then given to 1500 hungry kids each week during the school year to help feed them over the weekend. The work continues even over the summer as 500 kids per week receive their Buddy Boxes.
