The results of the 2023 “Pet Pals Costume Contest” are in. After last minute frenzied voting, Hardy grabbed 1st prize as “Cutest Costumed Pet Pal“. Luggage is the “Second Cutest Costumed Pet Pal“, and next is Winnie, the “Third Cutest Costumed Pet Pal“. All pets receiving 50 or more votes were entered in a raffle to have their portrait painted. We selected 2 winners: Congratulations to Iggy and Mr. Pierogi for winning the raffle. Photos of all pets placing #1 thru #10 are featured on the label of a special Ruff Meown Schwarzbier brew by Combustion Brewery and Taproom in Clintonville. Nineteen pets competed with nearly 3500 total votes being cast. All proceeds from this fundraiser go to the Kiwanis Foundation of Northern Columbus to promote youth literacy and education, such as scholarships, book giveaways, and other projects supporting education.
